story:
An idealistic FBI agent is enlisted by a government task force to aid in the escalating war on drugs in the border region between the US and Mexico.
When the FBI raids a cartel house in Arizona, they find several bodies and two local police officers are killed by a booby trap. Operations leader Kate Macker is called to a meeting at the Justice Department and Kate is invited to join a special force directed by CIA Matt Graver to fight the cartel. Idealistic Kate brings her partner Reggie Wayne and they work together in force. They learn that the team intends to foment havoc in the Sonora Cartel by forcing a famous kingpin to come to Mexico to visit drug lord Fausto Alarcón and find his whereabouts. But soon Kate learns that it is absolutely illegal to work under the leadership of Matt and Alejandro and learns why she was invited to join the team.
