On March 19, 2003, Iraqi General Mohammed al-Ravi fled his residence amid the bombing of Baghdad. Before leaving the premises, he gives a notebook to his colleague, Sayyed, instructing him to warn his officers to go to their safe houses and wait for their signal. Four weeks later, US Army Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller and his platoon check a warehouse for Iraqi weapons of mass destruction. To Miller’s surprise, the warehouse has not been secured, with the robbers making their way in and out, as the soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division have little to do. After a gunfight with a sniper, Miller finds the warehouse empty, the third time in a row an official mission has led to a dead end. Later, in a debriefing, Miller reveals that much of the intelligence given to him is false and anonymous. Highly placed officials immediately dismiss their concerns. Later, CIA officer Martin Brown tells him that the next location was inspected by a United Nations team two months earlier to search and it has also been confirmed to be empty.
