Plot / Storyline:
25-year-old American Lucy is studying in Taipei, Taiwan and is duped by her new boyfriend, Richard, into working as a drug mule for a South Korean Kangpai and drug lord. Lucy gives Mr. Zhang a briefcase that allegedly contains paperwork, but it actually contains four packets of CPH4, a highly prized synthetic drug.
After watching Richard get shot and killed, he is captured and a bag of medicine is forcibly sewn into his stomach to transport the drug for sale in Europe. When Lucy is imprisoned, one of her inmates kicks her in the stomach, breaks the bag and releases a large amount of medicine into her system. As a result, she rapidly gains increased physical and mental abilities, such as telepathy, telekinesis, psychic time travel, and the ability not to feel pain. Using her newfound abilities, she kills her hostages and runs away.
