Plot / Storyline:
Hopper, a professor of archeology, has been exploring a remote cave system on the trail of hippies missing since the 1970s. After discovering that a shepherd appears to be stuck in a tunnel, he returns to town and dismisses his graduate students, Taylor and Jackie, saying they have been researched.
Several days later, Hopper does not return and Taylor is concerned about his safety. Taylor and Jackie decide to search for her with their friend Kara, who is seeing her sister, Weaves, and her sister’s best friend Furby. They follow Hopper’s Trail to the campsite near the cave, which has an entrance with climbing ropes leading inside. They decide to follow it but Furby chooses to stay behind as a backup for Base Camp.
